Xtreme Clutch at Autosport International 2020, Birmingham UK


Autosport International in 2020 is celebrating the 30th anniversary this running event for motorsport success! With over 60% of trade visitors attending to keep up with what is happening in motorsport, there is a lot more exciting entities to cover across the exclusive “trade-only” Thursday and Friday.

This year we were attending at Autosport Engineering Show which offers the opportunity to discover the latest industry innovations as well as the opportunity to collaborate with new businesses.

Xtreme Clutch during two trade-only days in NEC Birmingham UK  presented already launched several new kits for the European. These new kits include a 230mm sprung organic twin plate upgrade for the Ford Focus RS MK3 and a range of 230mm twin plate upgrades to suit the BMW E90 M3. These kits have been designed to ensure significant increases in torque capacity for street and dedicated Motorsport applications.

The new kits come complete with all hardware required for a successful installation including a replacement concentric slave cylinder (thrust bearing for BMW kits), pilot bearing, flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts and a metal alignment tool. The BMW kits are available with both organic and ceramic friction materials for high performance street and motorsport applications respectively.

The Ford Focus RS MK3 230mm kit is a new revision for Xtreme Clutch, now offering a sprung centre version of the already highly popular kit. “Our new 230mm sprung twin plate kit for the Ford Focus RS MK3 has been designed to offer improved dampening for the transmission, making it more suitable for very high horsepower daily driven vehicles,” explains Stewart Furze, Xtreme Clutch Mechanical Engineer, “Our twin plate organic kits have proven to be very popular throughout Europe and we are pleased to showcase this new version of the kit at the Autosport International 2020.”
